Here’s me unpacking a very exciting recent delivery - my new monthly reading subscription from @mrbsemporium.

I filled out a very detailed form of my likes and dislikes, recent reads, favourite authors and then every month my very own clever personal bibliotherapist selects a book they have tailored to my preferences.

It gets packed and sent for me to enjoy and it’s an amazing gift to receive and unwrap.

I didn’t have a pet as a child (apart from a goldfish that somehow managed to survive 12 years!)

So the kids’ first pet is also my first pet. And we love our rabbit so much - she’s part of the family and brings so much joy.

It’s like having our very own slow tv channel to watch all the time.

My reels experience started around 2 years ago and some of my first reels were inspired by this very spot during daffodil day at Shotover Estate.

Springtime feels like my proper start of the year - my own new year time - when I feel reenergised and ready to start afresh.

I’ve felt a bit of poster’s block recently and spring has managed to jump start the creativity again. Plus taking a break is recharging the batteries which always helps too.

There’s a tree right outside the doctors in town

There’s a tree right outside the doctors in town which always has the best blossom display. Standing underneath it and looking up at all the beautiful flowers bursting open on a sunny day transports me away from everything. If there’s blue skies it’s a bonus. There’s something magical about springtime.
